Prayer for Revival and Transformation

Our goal is to raise up spiritual warriors who see prayer as a lifestyle in healthcare and who have an understanding of God’s plans and purposes for the sphere of healthcare.

Christian health care workers have a deep longing for God to come and change us and change health care so that it is an expression of His glory on earth, so that it glorifies Him. For many years, we and many other Christians working in health care have declared that the Lord Jesus Christ is the Lord of health care. We haven’t really understood what that might look like but our sense has been that we want to see Godly change and to see the Lord Jesus Christ acknowledged as the healer, the one who loves and cares for each of our patients and colleagues. We want to see Him visiting our health care facilities in revival and transforming power.

Our prayer has been,

‘Dear Father, we long to see a health care system ‘saturated with God’ – to see men and women made whole in body, mind and spirit; to see children raised from their sick beds and worshipping their precious Lord; to see the mentally ill healed; those on their death beds raised up and people running in to meet with the Lord; to see justice and mercy and You glorified in health care. We invite You to come and do whatever pleases You in health care.’

Our desire is to start an online prayer room that can be accessed by Christian health care workers in Australia and around the world to join together in concerted prayer for the Lord Jesus Christ to come in revival and transformational power to health care. We are working to this end please pray for the Lord to open the right doors and guide us in the process.

Our other aim is to put a workshop online to facilitate this prayer. Please pray with us for this to be accomplished.

Our God is a great God. He is the Lord God Almighty who created the earth and the universe and all that is in it. He spoke a Word and created the Universe, the Earth and every living thing on the Earth. Yet in the midst of the great expanse of His creation – he made man in His image and woman to stand beside man so that he was not alone.

God desires our fellowship with Him. He created us for this purpose to love Him, adore Him, worship Him and to be with Him. He loves us with an unfailing love. He created each of us and knew us even in our mother’s womb. How awesome!

The God of the whole Universe loves me and cares for me. He has a plan for my life – He has guided me and is guiding me even now as I write this. He is here now with each one of us living IN us, in our hearts – loving, caring and longing for us to appreciate the love that He has for us – each of us.

We love You, Lord!

David wrote when he was in a dry place, the desert of Judah,

“You, God, are my God, earnestly I seek you; I thirst for you, my whole being longs for you, in a dry and parched land
where there is no water.” Ps 63:1-2 NIV

David sensed the longing of God’s heart for him even in that dry place and responded, “my whole being longs for you”. He longed for Him even more than for water, one of the essentials of life. My challenge … our challenge is do we long for Him in the very depths of our heart in the midst of our problems, in the midst of pain, in the deserts and valleys of our lives and also but not just when we reach the mountain tops?

Do we long for His presence all the time? He longs for us. David continued,

“I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and your glory.
Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you. ‘ Ps 63: 3-4 NIV

David saw Him, he saw His power and glory and it changed him, transformed him.
We invite you to meet with the living Lord so that you can say with the psalmist,

“Come and hear, all you who fear God; let me tell you what he has done for me.
I cried out to him with my mouth; his praise was on my tongue.
If I had cherished sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened;
but God has surely listened and has heard my prayer.
Praise be to God, who has not rejected my prayer or withheld his love from me!” Ps 66:16-20 NIV
